Fine Gael may have died a death at the polls in last week’s presidential election but it will be celebration and not mourning that will be on party leader and Taoiseach Enda Kenny’s mind tomorrow.

What’s done is done and now we must wait. It will be late this evening before we hear definitively who our new President will be.
